Hi folks
You can easily run both Edge and the developer version now on Linux without any problems
Here's a screenshot of both running on a Fedora 41 Linux VM running on HYPER-V

I hated Edge originally but it's getting quite decent these days and unlike @cereberus !!!!!!) I actullay DO like co-pilot and AI - and edge is integrating with copilot much better now !!). HYPER-V itself seems a lot snappier in decen eleases, also more flexible (now easier to add more DVD / ISO ROM's va SCSI Virtual connector, bridge connection over a WIFI Nic works properly (allowing total two way communivation between guest and host plus between host and guest when the VM is hosted on a machine on the same LAN.
Here's the main VM characteristics

performance is almost as good as Native speed -- and this is basically a "Live distro" (Fedora spins KDE desktop) straight out of the box. very happy with the test of latest version of Hyper-V.
cheers
