Common issue, I've read, but I've actually seen it work on one of our machines...so there could be a fix.
Issue - Even with the setting changed to "off" to "run in the background" when I close Edge, it simply moves from being an active app to a background process (including all RAM usage and lots of processes). How can I get it to completely close, immediately, when I close the app?
My wife uses Edge on her machine and I've tried it a few times and hers completely closes...I suspect there is some registry entry that is messed up or something on my machines. I did attempt a "repair" of Edge but that didn't fix it.
What else should I try to get Edge to completely close and not simply transfer from active to background process(es)? Thanks.
