Your vista is transparent, mine never was like it. But do you mean the start menu? Need to look if windows 11 still provides the favorites, if yes it should be doable. The left side are only links..Clickable labels or buttons. Can be themed wirh css

I loved the look of Vista, but hated the performance of it.
Windows 11 is the complete opposite. It has very basic childlike icons, but better performance. I still think Windows 10 has better performance and better icons.

This member, bluedxca93, posted in this forum that they created some code to change the appearance of Windows. I don’t read where they’re claiming to be replicating Windows Vista.

By all accounts, they seem to be proud of their achievement. But by all means shoot them down 🙄

Ironically the Vista forums is the only place I didn't post a build (or if I did, I can't find it), but I certainly did a new one for Vista.

This is the 6th video I'm having to make out of about 20 x 30min videos I am currently creating for the National Australian Film Archives.

I do pretty well out of it, thanks.
