This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable hide flashing on taskbar apps by default whenever you start a focus session for your account in Windows 11.
Focus is a Windows feature designed to help you stay on task by minimizing distractions. Whether you're working on an important project, studying for an exam, or simply need some uninterrupted time, Focus can help you maintain your concentration and productivity.
The icon of an app or service will flash orange/red with animation on the taskbar when attention is needed for it. By default, the app icon on the taskbar will flash 7 times with an orange/red color, then stay highlighted to get your attention to click/tap on or open.
When you start a focus session, flashing of the apps on the taskbar are temporarily turned off by default.
