This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off "Keep the Edge window open when closing the last tab" for your account in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Starting with the latest Microsoft Edge version in the Canary channel, you can now turn on or off "Keep the Edge window open when closing the last tab".
By default, when you close the last tab in a Microsoft Edge window, it will close the window.
If you turn on "Keep the Edge window open when closing the last tab", Microsoft Edge will stay on the New tab page by default instead when you close the last tab.
