Have been using the Eraser secure delete app for many years. Eraser – Secure Erase Files from Hard Drives
When I recently switched operating systems to Windows 11, I began seeing this error screen after the app has (appeared to be) finished. Never saw this on Windows 10. As far as I can tell, the app is actually erasing the designated files, at least they disappear, and I do not see them if I run a file recovery program. I usually click on 'Continue' and the app appears to finish. The files disappear before I click on Continue.
Although the app seems to still 'work', I am left wondering if the files in question have in fact been securely erased.
Any thoughts appreciated.
