Trying to copy documents from Amazon Fire Tablet to Win 11 laptop. Using USB cable. Using extant Win 11 File Manager.
Most data and documents copied ok. Some returned error messages:
Specified file type is wrong or Catastrophic Failure.
Documents are .DOC and shown with Windows doc icon.
I don't think they are windows Doc format, But the extension is present on the names of the documents. -- .doc means something else on tablet. The extension is automatically applied on tablet.
Should I try to rename the files with a utility before copying?
Or?
What am I doing wrong? What should I do?
Thanks for any help given.
