I have a problem with excel, that hopefully can be sorted.
When you are in a spreadsheet you click on a cell to type, change the value etc. but your eyes are drawn to the cell that you are making changes to - NOT the "ruler" (rows 1, 2, 3, etc. and Columns A, B, C, etc.) so you don't notice the grey colour there, besides sometimes lining up the intersection of the rows and columns is a lengthy task. Now the problem rears it's ugly head, you enter your new figure but because the border of the selected cell is only very slightly different from the other cells you enter the value in the wrong cell, now you have to try and figure out what it was or undo what you just typed - time consuming and very irritating. My question is this, is there a way to change the border colour of the active cell in excel to make things easier?
