File Explorer tabs are showing up a split-second late ... ?
Ever since I updated to the latest Windows 11 build, File Explorer has seen a regression in performance. See below GIF:
Is anyone seeing this problem? The tabs, etc., are all encountering a delay in showing up. It's annoying and bad UI design.
Thanks in advance to those who respond here. I hope this bug gets resolved. Why'd Microsoft let this release out ... ? *sighs*

@Edwin - that doesn't help. The delay still happens.
Are you seeing it, too? Anyone else?
Only when animations are on!

@Edwin - see below ...
Also, see below (again) ...
This is what I had on before. All default settings, as you can see. "Let Windows pick what's best ... "
The GIF I've provided in this post is what
still happens when animations are disabled completely .
At this point, I'm inclined to call this a bug on Microsoft's part.
@3L11 said he (or she?) has the same issue.
Alright? Are you seeing the same behavior on your install,
@Edwin ?
Anyone else? Thanks to everyone.
Are you seeing the same behavior on your install, @Edwin?
I suppose I was. I guess the difference with animations on or off was that the tab would pop up like a
dollar value chiclet on an old cash register!
However:
I'm not using the SDK version of Explorer, anyway!

The issue probably lies with Recent files.
I had all 3 turned on to test something else since earlier this week. I saw the same thing you did.
I
suspect it is the Office.com files one actually taking the time, and disabling that alone should help tremendously. But disabling both as above makes it
almost instantaneous on my machine.
