Windows 11
Every time I go to open a file from an app or save it, File Explorer freezes. Only after a minute or so, does it come back to life, and that I'm able to access it.

Why does this happen and does anyone know how to fix this? I've been going on for a couple of months and I just never bothered to fix it.

If it happens intermittently there's a good chance that a program running in the background, like a virus scanner or malware protection may be causing this problem. Task Manager can give you a quick view of what's running in the background.

Hi,

Perform a clean boot and see if you face the same issue. If not, it means that there is a program or a service that's causing that issue.
