The default location of these folders wouldn't possibly be Onedrive, would it? Right click on one of them, select properties, location tab. Is it your C:/users folder or Onedrive?

Doesn't matter. Those reg patches will remove them all.

There's also this...

I removed OneDrive the day I installed Win 11.
The only other things I did to File Explorer were the Remove... Quick Access, Folders and Home
And this is what my File Explorer looks like...
I have File Explorer set on Details and Compact view as well.

I had unpinned the folders before using the remove folders and will have to wait and see if they come back - don't know what is causing it. I have previously removed Home and I understand that it is the old Quick Access.

This is the way I removed Quick Access... (this is from before there was a... "Home")

1. Open the Windows Registry as an administrator by launching the Run command using the Windows + R keyboard shortcut, typing "regedit", and hitting Enter.

2. Navigate to the following registry path:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{679f85cb-0220-4080-b29b-5540cc05aab6}\ShellFolder

3. Now you need to change the permissions of ShellFolder, right-click ShellFolder, select Permissions, then click the Advanced button.

4. At the top of Advanced Security Settings for ShellFolder, change the ownership of the folder to "Administrators".

5. To do this, click Change, click Advanced, click the Find Now button, and from "search results" select "Administrators", then click OK, OK again, then Apply, hit OK, and hit OK one last time to close the ShellFolder Permissions box.

6. Now... Under "Group or User Names", choose: Administrators and put a check mark in... "Full Control"
Then click Apply and OK.

7. With that completed, we can now change the settings to remove Quick Access from File Explorer.

8. Inside "ShellFolder", double-click Attributes, and change data value from a0100000 to a0600000, and click OK.

9. You can now either restart Windows 10 or open the Task Manager, find and select Windows Explorer, and click Restart from bottom-right corner.

That should do it.

So if you removed Quick Access, Home and Folders... whatever's left must be coming from... OneDrive?
Unless you're using some 3rd party tweaking program, like Explorer Patcher or something.

I don't use that, so I don't know if it would affect things or not.

/edit

The only other thing I did to File Explorer was this...

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

I am using Explorer Patcher and that may be the problem, but it is needed to uncombine the taskbar icons and to restore the ribbon to Explorer. What I need is a batch file to unpin the folders so it doesn't have to be done one at a time.

I am using Explorer Patcher and that may be the problem, but it is needed to uncombine the taskbar icons and to restore the ribbon to Explorer. What I need is a batch file to unpin the folders so it doesn't have to be done one at a time.

One of the reg patches does them all at the same time.

This one does all at the same time... (Option #2)

@Edwin <---- uses Explorer Patcher, a lot.

@rdwray It would help if you posted a screen shot of "all" of File Explorer, not just a tiny part of it.
So folks can see "where" those pinned items are showing up.
"Where" they appear in File Explorer, may give a hint as to how to remove them.

The folders are not showing right now, but if they come back, I will post a new image of Explorer.

Do they have anything to do with your network?
Don't really understand your question. The "Network" drive you see is a list of shortcuts to my backups on another PC.

I don't understand my question either.
I just thought that "network" was one PC that talked to another.
If they could talk, maybe they could get those folders confused.

Last time I did anything with networking was in 1983, and it wasn't much. :-)
