I'm trying to get the windows 11 installer to work without Secure boot and using the registry editor works fine to get around it, but it doesn't save after the installer is closed. Is there a way to make it stay so I can use it multiple times without needing to do it over again?

Rufus is used to create the usb because it has options one can set which can bypass the requirements for Win11.

If drivers are required for a machine, it doesn't matter what method one uses to create his install media, you will still be asked to provide those drivers.. It is common for machines that are optioned for Raid/VMD that need the Intel Rapid Storage Controller or AMD Raid controller drivers before your drives can be detected by the install process. These drivers are machine specific.

Some folks integrate the drivers into their iso but I do not since I use my install media on multiple machines. Therefore I put the required drivers on a separate usb and insert them at the" load driver" step of the install process. An alternative solution is to change from RAID/VMD to AHCI in UEFI bios prior to install which will use the Microsoft drivers making it unnecessary to manually load any storage controller drivers. 24h2 installation may ask for networking drivers which you can also have available when asked to install them.

It's all in the clean install tutorial. Brink has mapped it out, step by step. Clean Install Windows 11
