Gmail vs Outlook 2021

Can't seem to get Outlook to take a password from Gmail......
I think the answer is what they call App Password.....I went thru this
once a year or so ago.....and it is a series of characters that Gmail assigns
to Outlook irregardless of your actual password working on other devices...etc.....

My question is......How do I find where to set the App Password...???

I'm in my Gmail account \ Security but I see nothing related to generating an App Password....

Antspants....thanks...!!!!!!!!!!!!....got a new App Passowrd and was able to log into my Gmail from Outlook 2021.....

I actually use the Microsoft Authenticator App on my iPhone for all my security 2 step verification stuff.

When asked how I wanted to use 2FA in Google, again I chose Microsoft Authenticator App (On my phone)

When I added a Gmail Account to Outlook 2021, all it did was ask for the verification code (or approval) from my phone. 2FA.

Not sure what I would do without the Authenticator App. As more and more websites use it, it’s just so simple now.

I need to have my phone with me at all times so I find Microsoft Authenticator useful, Steve.
If you’re not one to carry your phone around, you will find yourself having to get up to retrieve it when Authenticating.
If you’re absent minded and forget where your phone is… fun days ahead 😁

P.S. There is one for both iPhone and Android phones.
