Hi, I could go the github open source and download the zip file for any software, say for example merge pdf. I could download the zip file, but there is no exe file at all to execute. I think that the all the software are free in that site. There are so many free softwares which could be used for the users advantage.
But here there is no exe file once I download and extracted using 7 zip.
Is there a separate download link for finding and downloading exe files of the softwares
I think as it free open source, they do not have any paid option to use their software.
May I know, how could i use the software from it for my advantage

In most cases there is a small button near the middle right side, called: Latest Release
If you click that you should find the .exe file.

Sometimes, you just need to scroll down a bit to find the executable file.

Then ofc, there are some items that don't have an .exe file.
They may have a .bat file or something to start the program or app.

Programmers aren't like normal people.
They think we can all just create whatever kind of installer we want, from the source code.

In those cases, we just sigh, feel sorry for them, and look in all the nooks and crannies at Github for the installer. :-)

Try this... it's recommended by PCMag, and it's free.

If your PDF-managing needs are minimal, install the free, open-source PDFsam Basic. If you want the free Basic version, uncheck the option in the installer to download the Enhanced version

An alternative freeware app available from the Microsoft Store is PDF Merger & Splitter
It's a UWP App, and as usual, harder to use. LOL

I would get the portable version of PDFsam Basic (the .zip version)
[[ The .zip version scans clean locally and at Virustotal. The .msi version turned up one PUP at Virustotal ]]

Hi, garlin, how do you know , that is for mac system.
Is there any specific pages for window apps in the github

It's a Mac Disk Image file, .dmg...
A DMG file is a mountable disk image primarily used to distribute software to the macOS operating system.

I won't steer you in any direction accept: find a reputable source for software recommendations!

Just to be clear, that free online tool allows you to merge multiple PDF documents into one..., to actually re-arrange individual pages between individual documents, they would need an Adobe ID.
