Hiding or Removing Unwanted Start Menu Folders


@raywood You could use the friendly alien’s tutorial to prevent ALL Start menu items from the ProgramData folder from appearing on your Start menu. Then, copy the ones you want from ProgramData to your specific user account’s Start menu.

just tested on a 24h2 dummy pc... no errors after 2nd sfc scan and did not recreate them... i removed Windows Tools from user start menu and all users start menu locations

Au contraire. If I've set File Explorer to show hidden items, they do appear despite being hidden.
