I use Outlook for my e-mail. I have e-mail going back a decade or even considerably longer. The new Outlook does not currently support PST files and the Microsoft roadmap has PST support being added in March of 2025 but in read-only mode.
So, without PST file support, how are people backing up their e-mail?

The five 8TB drives and three 512GB SSDs are part of a DrivePool using StableBit DrivePool software. The three SSDs are devoted purely to caching for the 8TB drives. All of the important data is stored in triplicate so that I can withstand simultaneous failure of 2 disks.

Following. Seems to me I've read you have to convert PSTs to OSTs? Outlook Classic that is. For me it's 365. I'm on the same boat. I have multiple PST files that are older as well.
If you have a cPanel for your hosting you can use something like Roundcube Webmail to backup mail into something like an EML format.
But the backups are usually limited to 250MB so if you have a few GB, it’s a long process.
However, if you don’t have any of this there are 3rd party programs that can backup Outlook IMAP mail, not sure what ones work best.
