How long to install Updates?

My pc has taken 11 1/2 hours to download and install "Windows 11 Insider Preview 26058.1000, and that is just to the first reboot.
Is this time a bit long! Has anyone experienced long downloads and install times ?

That is a a long time but it depends on a number of factors e.g. internet speed, hard drive type/speed/condition/how full, cpu speed, avalable RAM, how much on Cdrive, spare space etc.

Without any details of your setup, we cannot assess if the time is unreasonable (perhaps a failing drive or even mobo etc.)
