How to determine the location of an application listed in the start menu?

I'm running Windows 11 Enterprise, 23H2, 22631.3527 (64-bit). I wish to determine the location of an application on the start menu, namely, the "new" notepad, which has this icon:

Once I have the application's location, I can create additional shortcuts to it.

If I right-click the icon on the start menu's "front" page, I see these context options:


If, on the other hand, I right-click the "new" notepad's icon in the "All apps" section of the start menu, I see these context options:


But, none of these context options -- not even "App settings" -- appears to provide me with the application's location or application executable's location. How can I find it? Or does the "new" notepad not have an executable associated with it, because it's a Microsoft Store app? In the Windows world, I'm unclear whether there is a meaningful distinction between the terms application and app.

Correct. It's because it is an app from the Microsoft Store now, and no longer has an .exe file like a desktop app.

The default location for installed apps from the Microsoft Store is on the Windows "Local Disk (C)" drive in the %ProgramFiles%\WindowsApps (apps) and %LocalAppData%\Packages (user app data) folders.

If needed, you can create shortcuts for Microsoft Store apps.
