Win 11
Hi!
I'm using a Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th Gen laptop and just moved from Win 10 to Win 11.
The most annoying part is sleep.
Under Win 10, I would press the power button, the laptop went to sleep and wasn't woken by the mouse.
It would stay in sleep for about a day and then hibernate. So wake-up was usually quick.

Win 11 is completely different.
It will go to a very light sleep for 1h. During that, even moving the mouse will wake it.
After 1h, it will go to hibernation and it takes quite long to wake up from there.

Is there any way to bring the nice Win 10 sleep behavior back?

Thanks!

You can adjust your power settings by going to Search and type Power Options. "Light Sleep" is what Sleep is, the computer will wake when you move the mouse or press Enter. You can change the power plan settings to what you want the power button to do, and when you want Hibernate to turn on. You can also add Hibernate in Power Options too Add or Remove Hibernate after from Power Options in Windows

Thank you for your reply. I cannot find the Light Sleep option.
I adjusted hibernate to run after a day, but it still hibernates after an hour.

I think you misread the post....
You can adjust your power settings by going to Search and type Power Options. "Light Sleep" is what Sleep is,
Spunk is simply stating his thought on what "Sleep" is. There is no "light Sleep".

Old saying, "when will they ever learn?"

No Windows 'Feature' has caused as many cries for help on the internet as "Sleep". It's been a total PITA since day one.
During my Setup of any Windows version, sleep and hibernate are totally shut OFF.
A PC is an Appliance, and like any appliance should have two states... ON and OFF.
Rebooting any computer system, from the mighty IBM 370 Mainframe, to the lowly Windows laptop, allows the computer to do a badly needed RESET.
On the big mainframes, it's called "Bouncing the system" . As a one time Mainframe operator, I remember it well.

Any system can become corrupted if left run for too long.

While there is some merit in your post, I've found Sleep works more times than not. I've been using "Sleep" for ages, and though it occasionally acts up, I've found most of the time it's centered around a driver, typically GPU drivers. Keeping drivers updated usually alleviates the issue.

Yes, Sleep isn't perfect, but its far more consistent in working than not.

Hibernate now works properly after one day!
How to prevent it to wake from touchpad or mouse inputs while in 'Light Sleep'? I've tried the Bluetooth option in device manager but it didn't help.

I have the same one.
