Hello!

I opened this site in Microsoft Edge: The HTML5 test - How well does your browser support HTML5? and I noticed that not all features are supported (see attached PDF printout). Why is that? Can I change any settings or install any addons to improve the compatibility score? How? I am running Windows 11 Pro 22H2 with all the updates installed.

I don't know if that means anything or not.



My browser (Firefox 114.0), scores 515 out of 555.
I have no idea if my browser settings or Bitdefender Internet Security, have anything to do with that score.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
All 4 of my mobile browsers get a score of 520, except FireFox which gives only 517. That's very good, as most stuff is dependent on CODECs etc...

If there are any codecs or addons that can improve compatibility, I would like to know. The Windows version (or probably the browser version) is important. Latest Microsoft Edge (114) in Windows 11 produces larger score than latest supported Microsoft Edge (109) in Windows 7.

You should go through the list that it generates. You can click on each item to see if it is experimental of stable feature. Some of the features are even rejected, which means it is not part of the standard, but was suggested at one point.
