I am in need of assistance with lost data.
All of my games are stored on my 3TB 7200rpm hard drive.
Yesterday, while cleaning the PC, the HDD fell to the ground.

This morning, the computer is unable to boot and I am unable to access the BIOS.
The HDD is clicking click-clik-clickclik-click-click

Moving the HDD is necessary for the pc to boot

Is there a method for me to retrieve my files from a HDD like this?

If a hard clicking persists or is accompanied by any kind of repeating clunking (or grinding) sound, then there is likely a physical issue with the drive.

There are computer techs that are able to swap out the disk and place it into a new case of the same type. It can be very expensive. It all depends on what of vale to you is on the drive I would expect.

Alas as others have said clicking usually means drive is physically damaged. Did you have any backup of the drive? Can you redownload the games again?
An extremely long shot would be to see if somehow the drive is recognised with disk imaging software. I doubt it but I would certainly try anything at that point.

No
Many Thanks

I'm sorry guys, it's time for me to get a third NVME head so that everything is running at the same pace.

I would be very happy if I could find a good 2TB for a cheap price because I am very poor on money.

Thank you @WXC for the call.

Unfortunately I have nothing to offer in this case. Others have dealt with it appropriately.

Thank you, sir.

I thought it likely bit the dust, the moment it hit the floor. But didn't want to discourage the OP further.

I appreciate your response. ;)

I had a similar story with one of my kids' computers last week.
This is so frustrating so I"m sorry that it happen to you!!
I give it to a local tech store which help to recover some data (But it cost a lot!).
