You can associate text reading program like Notepad++ to change text icon to Notepad++.

But one can create a Shortcut to that .exe/Executable file and change that icon in it's Properties.

Sure, but it's for a specific file only, not to default icon of a specific file extension.

I truly thank all who replied. I will need to get used to the Notepad Light icon. I prefer it over the standard Notepad app! If you are not yet using Notepad Light I recommend you search for this app, I prefer it WAY over Notepad. And it is free!
