Inconsistent internet connection

Uncertain this is a network problem or hardware, but I'll start here.
For a few weeks, when I get to my PC in the AM, I have no network connection. In "Network Connections," I see Wifi, "Router5" (my network). Actually I see "Router5 4." Sometimes "Router5 5" or "Router5 6." The only way I've found to get an internet connection is to "Disable" "Router5" for 10+ minutes and "enable." works every time.
Sometimes I'll lose wifi connection during the day. Why do I keep losing connection? How do I resolve this?

Either your WLAN card is a bit broken, or your router is broken or overheating. (I've had overheating issues in the past and solved the issue by switching router brand)

It is also possible the WiFi channels are very congested and your router gets confused. Or you have a very weak WiFi signal.

If possible, disable WiFi altogether and move over to LAN connection.

My ISP provides the Modem and I provide the Wireless Router for my LAN. My LAN works with Wired and Wireless/Wi-Fi computers and works when disconnected from the Internet If having trouble the first thing my ISP's tech asks me do is unplug the Ethernet cable from the Router and plug into a computer, lets the connection be only through the Modem. Many ISPs provide a combination Modem/Router with their service, could be phone-line DSL or cable TV company such as provided by Spectrum or coaxial cable used by Satellite services.

I use a little program called Homedale. It shows the signal strength and channels of all the users around you are using. Chose a channel that is less busy. Or add a repeater close to where you need to work.
