Info Only-Do Not install a non traditional Windows font as your system font. It breaks start menu search

I dabble in writing & use Helvetica font in printed text. (The company I worked for used it and I may or may not have found an old copy of it ) I got this bright idea to install Helvetica in Windows so I could see what the finished product would look like in Word. It works great there. Then I got the not-so-bright idea to make Helvetica my system font. Why, I have no idea. After a restart, the font changed, but didn't look quite right in file explorer. I still liked it better than what I had so I kept it. I thought all was well until I went to do a search from start. As soon as I started typing, Start closed. However, I could search from within settings and I could search with file explorer. As soon as I changed my system font back to Calibri, I could search from start menu again. Back to Helvetica...start bad. Back to Calibri...start good.

So, lesson learned. It's not wise to use a non-traditional Windows font as your system font. MS is really protective when it comes to their start menu.
(no 3rd party GUI tools involved here)

I was reading this post, and did a little reasearch, there is not option to change in settings, you have to do it with a Reg hacking. So better let things untouched.
