In Windows 11 - Settings / Sound / All Sound Devices I have listed a Microphone Array, part of Lenovo FHD Webcam Audio. This shows as Disabled. Why ???
When I click on it and go to Properties it is set to "allow Apps and Windows to use this device for audio". That is, again, set to Allow. All the other settings make sense in terms of it should work, so why is it disabled?
The driver has been updated and is current. Windows 11 is current with updates. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the webcam, but it reinstalled as Microphone Disabled. The Windows Audio troubleshooter is no help. I have the same exact installation on another desktop running Windows 10 and have no issue with the same device. What in the Sam Hill is going on???
