I am getting a new laptop. I have had the pleasure of using a very similar model on Windows 10 for a few years and very pleased with it.
My only moan about the new laptop it is that it will come with Windows 11 already preinstalled but it will almost certainly be an old version of Windows 11.
I am an impatient person and would prefer to miss out some of the versions, after I have installed the first one "normally". Is it possible to do so using something like Rufus ? I wouldn't want to go straight to the latest edition, I am also wondering if Windows 11 would be expecting files from a different version of 11 that were not present. I expect I have made you think I'm stupid but I have 6 Windows 10 machines two of which are only a couple of years old and I have been very pleased with them. Can someone advise on my issues please ?
