Hi

Why when plugging my I phone into my Dell tower the internet disconnects
unplug works fine ran troubleshooter said no problem but cant search until i disconnect the phone?

That's because your iPhone is in tethering mode, and offers your PC a way to resend network traffic as a Personal Hotspot.

Go into the iPhone -> Settings -> Personal Hotspot -> Allow Others to Join -> OFF

If you need to use the Hotspot feature, turn it back on when you're not plugged into the PC.
