Issue with Contributing Artist column in files using Windows 11

I have folders of mixed music tracks, 500+ tracks each.
I only use 2 columns in each one, Name (track title) and Contributing Artists.
Just added an album of Peter Frampton tracks to a new folder and went to add his name to the Contributing Artists column but it won't work.
When I click on Properties-Details-Contributing Artists it just turns blue but I can't enter anything.
I checked the tracks, they are regular MP3 like all the rest.
I restarted Windows Explorer as well.
Why would it do that with these particular files ?
Thanks......

FYI Though I do not use properties to tag my files, I did just check that I could and have no issue.
If you don't find the answer you seek you might give an free app I've used for years a try that does all my tagging called MP3tag
It allows you to change any aspect of an mp3 properties and you can select all files in a folder and do them all (or some)at once if you like.

It can be run as a portable app or installed. If installed, it attached to you right click context menu.

To do multiple files right click on folder and select mp3tag. Select any/all file(s) and make your changes, then save, You can add, remove, or change any field. There's documentation under the support tab on the site.
