Solved Items from the system tray missing

I have some items that normally sit in what I believe is the "system tray" - the thing on the right side of the taskbar where items like the eject media and Nvidia settings and such reside. They're now hidden and I have to open the hidden stuff to get at things. It's not the biggest problem of the day, but it's annoying and until the most recent update (23h2?, something else), all the stuff was ON the taskbar, and suddenly it's not.

I've rummaged around and tried at least a half dozen "guaranteed to work" things, none of which did ANYTHING.

HOW do I force this stuff back in the system tray or taskbar or whatever 'cause that's where Core Temp displays my temperatures and not having them is annoying?

The name was changed from System Tray to Notification Area some time ago. Do you see a small up-arrow on the left end of that area? Click that to see more, also right-click the Taskbar and choose Taskbar settings, more can be done.

Well that's embarrassing... I don't recall any of the things I tried having me do the settings>personalization>taskbar - other system tray icons.....

BUT, everything in there was turned off.

What turned everything OFF? One day it was fine, overnight it rebooted for an update of something, next day, no stuff in the notification area... I know that just because B followed A, it doesn't mean that A CAUSED B, but...

Anyhow, thanks for the quick help.
