Latest build version as of now

I did the upgrades needed for win 11 on my other computer. But, I don't think it's fully up tp date. Win 11 pro 24H2 OS build 26100.2314? Win update says I'm up to date but I don't think so. Thanks!

Is there other methods to get the other updates? Thanks!

Get what other updates? You’re on revision 2314, which that page I linked indicates is the latest revision, other than Preview updates.

I went ahead and took the preview update. It's been running good on my other PC hopefully it will on this one also.

I found the same thing on a Desktop and 3 Notebooks today, got 24H2 Build 26100.2314. After rebooting checked again and got Build 26100.2454, all seems to be working good so far.

26100.2314 is the latest security patch for 24H2. It was released on November's Patch Tuesday (the 2nd Tuesday of the month).

The Preview cumulative update is just what it says, a preview of the non-security patches that will be included in the December Patch Tuesday cumulative update. These preview CUs contain no new security fixes, so they are optional. If you turn on 'Get the latest updates as soon as they are available' then they will be installed automatically like any other CU. If you turn it off then Windows Update will say that you are up to date (which you are, for security fixes) but also list the preview as available with a 'download and install' option.

Whether you install these preview CUs is entirely up to you. You'll be getting the same patches in the next Patch Tuesday update anyway. Many prefer to wait, from a security point of view they provide nothing new. More on the different types of updates here:

Send a courier to Redmond, Washington?

TL;DR: Microsoft will not release a preview update for Windows 11 and 10 in December due to the holiday break, but users will still receive the monthly cumulative update. The normal update schedule will resume in January 2025.

Microsoft is taking its traditional break from updates in December, so Windows 11 and 10 users will only get a monthly cumulative update next month - and no preview release.

So, Dec. 10th - Patch Tuesday... yes.
End of month preview... no.

It seems to be a little slower in rolling out to more users than usual.

I had an optional update which I installed brought it up to the same build as yours.

I've been running that same build of 24H2 for a bit now, maybe over a week or so ago - not too long after I solved the issue with my WD Blue 2T NVME that was preventing me from upgrading to 24H2.

I think they're doing a slow drip of upgrades - my guess is due to all the issues with the initial launch of 24H2.
