Hi. Before updating from 23H2 to 24H2 I would run a full Macrium Reflect backup, (v8 paid version) and if things didn't go well I would restore from that image. After I ran the backup, to safeguard the licence I would remove it and uninstall Reflect. If I restored from the image then Reflect and the licence would be restored, however because the licence was removed I'm thinking that the Macrium server wouldn't recognise the licence. Is this line of thinking correct and could anyone advise the best way to deal with this or should i leave Reflect installed? Thanks Mitch.

The license is stored on their server. You should have no problems, but if you do, just reach out to them and they'll activate it.

The only time I've removed Reflex, was when I upgraded motherboard, processor, and Ram.

Maybe the best option is to leave Reflect installed with the licence. My reasoning for removing the licence and program is if things were so bad during the upgrade that a clean install is the only option. I would probably use the Windows Update route for 23H2 to 24H2 so hopefully it should go OK. Thanks again.
