Major Issue with Office 365 Family Subscriptions

Logged on today and got a splash screen saying my MS 365 subscriptoin had been cancelled. Seems there's a major licencing problem at MS and many users have the same issue.

I have a family account courtesy of my daughter, but previously had Office 2021. As that is still on my MS account, it's reverted me to that despite the fact the product is now on the wife's PC.

I have EXACTLY the same issue.
I had Off 365 installed and working yesterday, courtesy of my daughter's Microsoft 365 Family subscription
I need a working locally installed copy and I had just that yesterday
I got her to Remove me and reinvite me; I rejoined the group No difference
I can see no record of my family group membership in my MS account

I think the problem is with MS. I had to sign-in twice.

Yes, its fixed, but I had to resign in even though I was signed in, and then close and reopen any of the office programs to have it eventually work. The downtime on this issue is what is concerning. Then trying to actually get support is another nightmare. Not a good advert for Subscription software at all.

I imagine the hassle is all to do with WHEN and HOW Office authenticates you.

MS will want to do this "once", usually as part of some kind of startup procedure.

I decided to shut all Office apps, sign out of MS Live, do a Full System Restart , then sign back into MS Live
In Subscriptions I could see my Family membership was recorded and active.
After that Office applications worked again.

That definitely did it.
