New capabilities in Microsoft 365 Copilot
We’re excited to share that Researcher and Analyst—two first-of-their-kind reasoning agents for work powered by OpenAI’s deep reasoning models—are rolling out to customers in the new Agent Store starting today via the Frontier program.1 Researcher helps you tackle complex, multi-step research—delivering insights with greater quality and accuracy than previously possible. And Analyst thinks like a skilled data scientist, so you can go from raw data to insights in minutes. With our new Agent Store, you can easily find, pin, and use a range of agents. The Store offers prebuilt agents like Researcher and Analyst, as well as agents from partners like Jira, Monday.com, Miro, and your company’s custom agents—providing a single place for on-demand expertise.
Copilot Search is a new AI-powered enterprise search that helps you find what you need instantly with rich, context-aware answers from across your organization’s apps and data. It connects to first- and third-party apps—from ServiceNow to Google Drive, Slack, Confluence, Jira, and more—so you get fast, relevant results at work no matter where your data lives.
Memory and personalization make Copilot even more personalized to you and your work. Now, Copilot learns how you work and understands your needs and preferences through your chats, job profile, custom instructions, and more. Memory and personalization are private just to you, and if you’re ever working with sensitive information, you can control what Copilot remembers.

Create brings the power of OpenAI’s GPT‑4o AI image generation to work, unlocking design and content creation skills for everyone. Easily modify or customize brand images or generate AI images aligned to your company’s approved brand guidelines, and create everything from marketing copy and social assets, to newsletter banners and surveys, to videos from PowerPoint presentations, and more.
Copilot Notebooks allows you to pull together a wide range of content such as your notes, documents, websites, meeting recordings, and more. It then grounds Copilot on your notebook to give you the most relevant actions and insights—all while constantly scanning your source material to update in real time as your content updates. Notebooks can even create an audio overview of your content with two hosts that walk you through the key points—a fun, flexible way to stay informed.
As the work chart replaces the org chart, and becomes more project- and outcome-based, leaders will need to understand who has which skills and domain expertise across the organization. The Skills agent, powered by the People Skills data layer, lets leaders easily create dynamic skill-based teams to tackle any project, and lets employees find and connect with people who have the skills they need.
Soon you’ll be able to press one key to get Copilot at your fingertips. Just hit the Copilot key and Win + C shortcut on Windows 11 PCs to access Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat right in the flow of work.
