You may not run the portable msert.exe of microsoft when a third-party AV is activ on your PC because msert.exe puts w/o asking malware in quarantaine namely the quarantaine of windows defender.
And when you have a third party antivirus the quarantaine function of defender does not work so the malware is removed from your PC and not put in quarantaine. (although msert gives no error)
In my case msert had 'detected' and removed a false positiv as malware I suppose a 'tool' of bitdefender to disable restore of windows defender.
I have uninstalled bitdefender, made defender activ, checked defender quarantaine and it was empty while msert told me it had put the malware "VirTool:win32/DefenderTamperingRestore" in quarantaine.
After running the scan with msert.exe the average cpu temperature encreases with 10 degrees (celcious) and that doesn't change anymore after next reboots. The same happened with my windows 10 PC cpu temp.
I thought to solve the temp problem by restoring the false positiv from quarantaine.
