On my desktop computer, I've noticed that when adjusting volume using the slider on the taskbar, it doesn't make the traditional "ding" sound indicating the volume....as it should. I've checked Sound and made sure that "default" sound is enabled. Does anyone know other locations or registry entries that could enable this? I've had the issue for a long time but figured I'd ask again.
I do keep my audio drivers up to date and have in the past even completely uninstalled everything. I believe this is a Windows issue...not an audio driver issue.
