Modify Right-Click / Logo menu - Reg hack or 3rd party Req'd?

Referring to the menu that comes up when you right-click on the Windows logo in the leftmost position on the Taskbar:

Can I add/remove items from this menu? Change the order? Is a third party app the only way, or are there some registry changes I can make?

Also, what is the formal name for this menu? I did some googling to try to answer the questions above but I'm not even sure what to refer to it as. Some folks call it the Context Menu. But I was fairly certain that referred to right-clicking on files in places like Explorer, i.e. in Context.

So... I dropped some shortcut icons into those folders. I'm signed on as an Admin, but it asked for Admin privs. Done.

Did a Restart. Nothing showed up. Is the menu limited to MS only components?

Also, how do you control the order of the programs in the menu? There's doesn't appear to be any logic in how they appear in the menu based on how they are listed in the Groups.

No matter what you try the system will put it back.
I am unaware of any tool that modifies this.

Hi Shawn, do you know anything about modifying the right-click menu content or order (from the Start Button)?

Sort of... Win 10 has it and it will actually launch Control Panel. It also has some comparable features i.e Win 10 gives you a Run prompt; Win 11 gives you the Power Shell aka Terminal.
