Why does my mouse pointer keep disappearing when I try login to something

Is this a laptop? On mine there is a setting to disable the touchpad while typing as it can make the cursor jump around your text.

When you’re trying to log into what?
Have you tried this and get the same result with more than one website login?
Have you looked into whatever Antivirus you use to see if this is a security option it supplies?
Did your mouse come with software? If so have you checked it?

Can you try to disable all extensions in the browser as a test? And or turn hardware accelerations on/off as a test.

...and I thought it was just me. Thanks for the answer as I found it mildly annoying when the mouse pointer decided to bugger-off...
