I've been having a heck of a time customizing the Excel ribbon to include Data Types (for stocks) on this Win11 laptop. I gave up. I then opened Excel on my Win10 laptop and, voila, Data Types were in the correct ribbon location along with the Stocks icons.
I've thought that I'm running the same Office 365 on all our computers. Now, I'm wondering if somehow (with help from the Lenovo new machine Office teaser on board) I maybe ended up with 2 different versions. I doubt this is possible but I'd sure like to get my Excel stock portfolio updating on this Win11 machine.
I'm including a screenshot of Installed Apps. There are two different 365's. Both allow for uninstall and one indicates no size and the other a size so small it must just be what triggers online repair/uninstall.
How do I unravel this problem?
I just figured out why Win10 yes/Win11 no. Excel senses the file extension. If not xlsx, Stock do not appear - later feature. BUT I'm still very insterested to know if I somehow have two installations of 365 Office?
