Hey seniors. I come humbly to ask for your help. For more than 2 weeks my ASUS Windows 11 PC has been taking about 4-5 minutes before detecting or working any connected USB devices (usb key, printer, scanner...), i.e. if I plug in a usb key for example I have to wait about 5 minutes before the key is displayed or I have to restart the PC altogether. I reset the PC but it's not working. Please what to do

This time I'll let you call me a Senior, 85 in 12 days.

Missing some information, are the devices being plugged into the proper USB port, keyboard and mouse in USB 2 or USB 3, etc. USB 2 ports and plugs usually have black centers, USB 3 ports and plugs have blue centers. Is the computer connected to the Internet at the time, do the USB entries in Device Manager show any issues? Is a USB Hub being used? Have the devices been tried in other ports or on other computers?

Try running the hardware and device troubleshooter. Still works on Windows 11.

Open 'run' and copy and paste,

msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic

The peripherals are on USB 2. The device manager doesn't show anything. I have repeatedly uninstalled the drivers and restarted the pc. I used Driver booster and updated all the drivers. Even the system and the bios are up to date. By trying the peripherals on other pcs they work fine. On the internet side, sometimes I'm connected and sometimes not. I specify that well before these 2 weeks everything was fine except that I don't know precisely the cause. I had to uninstall my software install but nothing

Fixed that for ya.

@Salem333 It would help us give more pertinent advice if you would completely fill out the system specs section of your forum profile with as much info as possible.
(click on "my computers" below to see my specs or the same in Vsynced's post for an example of what we need. Be sure to include the Windows 11 version and build # as in mine)
