I tried to follow instructions fromBing AI Chat with GPT-4 but they did not match what I was seeing on my screen.

Having logged into my Microsoft 365 when I tried to load the personal information the web page would not load - I was advised by Bing to clear the cache - which I did recently but forgot the precise sequence needed (I have a memory disability) the instructions from Bing did not match what was on screen - now I cannot find a tutorial here either to change the Microsoft 365 account email or Clear the EDGE Cache - suggestions invited - ideally please give me a link to a tutorial.

I have discovered that it is not possible to use an existing Microsoft account to replace any existing Microsoft subscription account - that was where I was going wrong - as anything that is already registered with Microsoft cannot be used as a what they call "alternative email address"

Sorry for causing confusions

However, if you have the multiuser licence, you can assign any email to accounts other than primary account.

That I do not know about or understand but as I have so many email accounts set up and acquired down the years for different purposes and to keep stuhff (in the past) separate - some way of combining them all together might be good - I am a long time user of Thunderbird Email client - in a very basic way - I like the principal of mutualisty but now find some email addresses to not automatically synchronise with Thunderbird as they did when I first had the system - plus Thuderbird is not available on mobile phones and I now do a lot by phone - so all in all it is a muddle - especially for a non technical memeory disabled person like me - thus I have written what probably reads here as a diatribe.

I resisted a mobile phone but wanted my wife to have one for emergencies if she got stuck out on the road and also so we could use SMS with my son who did not have a fixed line (geographical line numbers are apparently due to be ended in the uk by the end of 2025) & was living in employer provided accommodation - then I got one when the for emergency one - I had boight for my mother was discarded as she went to a shop and bought something more simple of her choice and did not need two then the phone baxes vanished and my system of phoning from a public call box with a phonecard account system became defunct - then we had smartphones - and so progress marches on - except I barely Now move from my home or village nowadays as I reach the mid point og my eight decade (My under 5 grandchildren us Computer Tablets constantly but sadly may never understand it is possible to live happily without having digital images constantly distracting you -

I have gone seriously off track so will stop my ramble - I would have deleted my original post but could not see how to do that - but am now confounding the self created muddle!
