February 20 releaseThe following update is available for Surface Laptop for Business (7th Edition) running Windows 11, Version 24H2 or greater.
Improvements and fixes:
- Reliability:
- Ensures an overall smoother and more responsive user experience through reducing instances of severe throttling.
- Addresses audio issues that caused consistent ticking or popping sounds during Teams or Zoom calls, ensuring a clearer and more reliable communication experience.
- Fixes an issue that caused the boot operation to take longer than expected.
- Performance and usability:
- Addresses an issue that may result in complete loss of audio output on devices, preventing the use of speakers or headphones.
- Supports PXE boot when connected to the Surface USB4 Dock for Business.
- Addresses an issue that caused a white line to flicker momentarily after closing and opening the lid or pressing power button.
- Resolves an issue that prevented the Bluetooth mouse from functioning as expected during a Teams call.
- Addresses an issue where the touch function was lost after waking the system from hibernation, reboot, or boot up, and required a reboot to recover.
