The following update is available for Surface Go 3 devices running Windows 10, Version 22H2 or greater.

Improvements and fixes:
  • Security:
    • Addresses potential security vulnerabilities related to Intel® Graphics advisory INTEL-SA-01132 that may allow escalation of privilege or denial of service.
  • Reliability:
    • Resolves activation issues for AVC and HEVC hardware encoders, enhancing video quality and encoding efficiency while improving system stability during video encoding tasks.
    • Fixes the issue that resulted in the occurrence of sporadic black screen when playing video content in full screen, ensuring a smoother and uninterrupted viewing experience.
    • Mitigates an issue that was preventing the device to PXE boot in an IPv4 network setting.
  • Performance and usability:
    • Improves the pen experience by reducing the occurrence of missing strokes when the SuperWetInk feature is enabled.
    • Enables improved performance when connected to the newly launched Surface USB4 Dock for Business.
