I apologize if this was posted somewhere already but I didn't see it. Anyhow the MS Store has a new version of TranslucentTB that works with the latest Windows builds with no Vivetool tweaks needed. Just tried it out and so far works great.

For those using the portable version of TranslucentTB that needed the ViveTool fix, do the following...

1. Delete: C:\TranslucentTB-portable-x64
2. And delete the TranslucentTB shortcut in this location...
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
3. Then get the MS Store version at the link below.

By enabling or disabling certain 8 digit "ID numbers", you can turn Windows 11 features ON or OFF. In many cases, Vivetool is the "only" way to enable/disable certain features. Make sure you use 3rd party backup software, before you start "tweaking" Windows. Official tutorial...

FYI, I didn't need to do anything when installing the new release posted above to get a clear bar. Defaulted to clear upon install....

Im going to install and try it again but i dont see it being updated? 2018 looks like last update? Unless theres something im missing but ill try it.

EDIT: Can Confirm I just installed it using the latest Public Release Windows Pro 22H2 OS BUild 22621.2070 and it works perfect. Hope it stays this way. Thanks for the info

My portable version stopped showing the clear taskbar after the update to 22621.2070. As in immediately. I tried all the usual tricks for when TTB fails, like the Advanced settings to reset, but it would not come back.

Installed the Store version and it was back as soon as I ran it. Killed it and ran the portable version and it would not go clear.

Sticking with the Store version, but I didn't delete the portable version, only removed the startup shortcut.
