Nightlight suddenly stopped working

Just recently, my Nightlight setting stopped working and whenever I click it, nothing happens. It was working great since i first got this PC....i did mess with trying to update some old drivers because my PC was also freezing and randomly restarting with the errors: (DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION and DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE)
Those are just the 2 that i can remember on the BSOD...

Have you updated all graphics drivers? Else, reset nightlight through registry.

1. Open Regedit. Do however you like, but personally I click +R, then type regedit. Click Yes.

2. Head to the following path: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\CloudStore\Store\DefaultAccount\Cloud

3. In the above displayed Cloud key, delete the following keys:
default$windows.data.bluelightreduction.bluelightreductionstate and default$windows.data.bluelightreduction.settings.

4. Once done close regedit and restart PC.
