Hi guys first post and thank you all for your help. I'm upgrading a 256 to 2TB ssd on a new Asus 1220p i3 laptop and doing a clean install.

Getting the no drivers message which I know you are familiar with.

I've got the iastore driver and have tried everything I can think of but can't get it to load. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong and really frustrated trying to get this thing working. Set up does not let me see it on my USB 11 download.

Added RST package to USB and also just the driver on the USB which it can't see and neither will load. Thanks for your help and I'm super stumped.

I have pictures but apparently they're too large to load.

Hi @FreeBooter
I'll try that. USB downloaded from official Microsoft 11.

I'll try to reduce the pixel count from HD to regular pictures and retake them soon so they will load. It's not recovery because it's a new hard drive. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The Bios has wifi but stopped at 11 setup. Should I upgrade the bios firmware first?

Snowfan,

I am not sure what problem you are reporting.
Are you saying that you boot successfully from the InstallUSB but, during the clean Windows installation, you reach Step 11 where it reports that it cannot find any disks to install to and offers you a link to Load driver?
Clean Install Windows 11 - ElevenForumTutorials
If so:

All the best,
Denis

Yes, Windows starts install normally but when I get to the "load driver" prompt it does not find any drivers. I tried the whole RST package and just the drivers....and a couple more drivers from Intel, Asus ect. The RST package shows but does not load the driver and the drivers do not show on usb in a folder or saved alone.

I will check out the links above and keep working on it.

The hd is a new 2tb Kingston M.2 2280 NVME initialized and showing 1.8ish unallocated space.

I loaded the IRST drivers on another thumb drive and it worked. 👍 Thank you all for your help.....

Now stopped at another screen with no network showing and can't proceed...

I'm in a hotel in Taos New Mexico with my mobile hotspot on and hotel Wi-Fi on but nothing showing.

I can't post pictures because I get a error message for too large so I'll try to reduce pixel count.
