Shock that these people live lives that exist outside of updating defender, i really didn't expect they would be allowed such a thing!

Wow, all that for one delayed defender definition. I wouldn't find it necessary to pursue such steps unless I missed several update cycles.

No prob at all. I just hate to see anyone spend time trying to fix something that might not be broken. I learned a long time ago to have a little patience with Windows idiosyncricies. Many times, He won't listen to me and has to work things out in his own good time and way. (My computer is definitely male. Just like my husband of almost 60 years, he works with me most of the time but is so stubborn and frustrating to deal with at others. It makes sense to call it a HE.:rolleyes: )
