NVIDIA has confirmed the release of the new RTX 4070 GDDR6, a variant of the existing model that was upgraded to SUPER specs in January. The company has kept its original RTX 4070 card on the market, with no indication of discontinuing it. Today, NVIDIA has introduced a new version of this model.
The only difference is the memory upgrade, now featuring GDDR6 memory clocked at 20 Gbps, instead of the GDDR6X's 21 Gbps. According to the official specs, both cards have the same clock speeds, memory capacity, and presumably the same TDP settings. The card did not appear as a new SKU but was listed as a 'GDDR6' variant of the existing model.
