Hi all,

Built my PC back in 2019 and about a year ago I started noticing edge crashing whilst watching YouTube with the error STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN, I didn't put it down to much and just lived around it, then I started noticing I was getting the occasional BSOD with the error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, again I didn't put this down to much as it seldom happened. This has gotten progressively worse in the past year, enough for me to start looking at trying to solve the issue.

Please note that I include the information about the Edge crashes as I believe they may be related, as the BSOD also mostly occurs whilst watching YouTube and generally after multiple Edge crashes.

Doing some searching it seemed to point towards memory initially, so I ran Memtest86 and have included that log.

Your Memory is Ok. For start, please update the BIOS to latest version: BIOS F39g
You're multiple versions/fixes behind: X570 AORUS PRO (rev. 1.0) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global

Random components belonging to AMD Chipset - seem updated (i presume by windows), so install the full OEM instead: AMD Chipset Driver [5.11.02.217]

You could also reinstall the GPU Drivers - while doing a clean install with DDU (to rule out the possibility of an older driver - which did not install properly - causing conflicts).

Second, Disable FastStartup - Windows kernel doesn't restart properly with it enable.

Thanks for the quick reply neves, funnily enough after posting this I did check my BIOS ver out of curiosity and did notice that, have just flashed to the F39g.

Will perform the other actions and keep monitoring it, will reply with an update when I have one.

Many thanks

Don't want to jinx it, but 24 hours in and haven't had a single YouTube crash yet, nor a BSOD.
