OS
Windows 11
On my prior computer, I think it ran on Windows 10, each individual photo thumbnail included a small square in upper right of thumbnail border. I could left click in this box in order to select that single item, then go to another photo, in the same folder, left click in its box and now both items are selected. I could also hold left click down and drag to select an entire row or select a block of adjacent rows and columns in the same manner. Where do I find the setup page for those options?

Not sure but on my Win11 the Folder view needs setting to one of the Icon sizes to get a check box at the upper left corner of the icon/thumbnail.

Alright, I did find the 'item check box' enable button in the others option at the bottom of "view" listing.
