Solved Picture Thumbnails Show Details Under Them. How do I Hide the Details?

I just downloaded 5,000 pictures from my iphone 12 to windows 11. When I open the picture folder it shows thumbnails of all my pictures. Under each thumbnail it displays details about each thumbnail. How can I get rid of these details and just show thumbnail? I tried using the view tool and can't find anywhere to get rid of theses details here. Is there a way to get rid of these details?

Try using the gallery feature in the sidebar of File Explorer. Just add your desired folder to the gallery. This tutorial might help you:

If you want to view images without the filenames you might have to use the Microsoft Photos app or 3rd party software. I’m not sure though if you can get a thumbnail view in the photos app and if you can, that you can hide filenames in that either, I don’t use it.
But I am 99.99999% sure you can’t hide filenames in File Explorer.

Ok. I made an error on what I called the information under the pictures. Sorry. Can you help me get rid of the filenames from being displayed under the pictures? I don't want the information deleted from the computer. I just don't want the filenames being displayed under each picture. Can you help me with this please?

Thank You for all your help! But what I don't understand is that my other pictures stored in File Explorer do not show the file names under them. So why can't the filenames in this Photo album be removed?

Yes that screenshot does have file names under the images. What do you think the text is under each image above?

In your first screenshot further up, they have names given to the photos by your phone.

The screenshot just above, they’re images that you or someone else has renamed.

For instance “Scot And Carol Viejas”

They do.

Gallery, suggested in the first reply at #2, does not display file names.
